Is the TL-WP a corded phone?
Yes. The TL-WP is a corded trimline telephone with a separate handset and base. It connects to a compatible analog telephone line.
Is the entire TL-WP waterproof?
The TL-WP has a waterproof oversized keypad, a water-resistant cabinet and earpiece, and protective covers for cord connections and the ringer control. These features do not establish a submersion rating. Follow the included installation and care instructions and keep the protective covers correctly fitted.
How do I adjust the listening volume?
Use the electronic volume button on the handset to choose from three listening levels. The handset volume control is separate from the ringer setting.
Does it have a visual ring indicator?
Yes. The TL-WP has a large flashing ring indicator that provides a visual alert for incoming calls. The indicator can flash even when the audible ringer is off.
Can I adjust the ringer?
Yes. The TL-WP has a covered Normal/High ringer control, so you can choose the ringing level independently of the handset volume.
Can I mount the TL-WP on a wall?
Yes. The trimline base can be wall mounted or placed on a desk. Follow the included mounting instructions and keep the protective connection covers correctly fitted.
What comes with the phone?
The TL-WP includes a handset and matching base in your selected color, plus modular handset and telephone line cords with protective covers. Choose Black or Cream using the color selector.
Will it work with cable or VoIP phone service?
The TL-WP can work when your provider supplies a compatible analog telephone port through a voice modem or adapter. It does not connect directly to Ethernet or operate as a SIP phone. Confirm compatibility with your provider.
